Yamaha DTX950 Review

The Yamaha DTX950 Electronic Drum Kit comes with DTX-PAD drum pads that are fantastically quiet, the DTX900, a superior quality tone generator and the HEXRACK acoustic drum rack. The DTX – PAD drum pads are made using unique technologies developed by Yamaha and the floating design lends the system magnified sensitivity. The Yamaha DTX950 uses the vertically mobile RHH135 hi-hat pad. Unbelievably quiet, it enables you control different sounds with the pad and edge areas, and foot splashing is also supported. The Yamaha DTX950 uses two cymbal pads, the 15-inch PCY155 and the 13-inch PCY135. It is amazing how sticks bounce and vibrate on these pads in a strikingly similar way as they do on real cymbals. The effect is that the drummer derives the same feeling as that of playing on an acoustic drum set. Other features include the following:

  • Realistic Cymbals and Durable Kick PadsYamaha DTX950
  • Customization Enables You to Create Your Ideal Drum Sound
  • Versatile Trigger Features
  • Rich Training Features for Improving Your Performance Skills
  • Can Be Connected to PCs and Other Devices
